Belvedere Residents for Intelligent Growth (BRIG) was formed in response to the proposal to demolish and redevelop the existing residential duplexes along Mallard Road.

BRIG’s primary purpose is to support intelligent, well-planned growth to preserve the charm and existing character of Belvedere. The group is also concerned about traffic congestion, adequate water supplies, the health of the lagoon, and the environment.

The BRIG Steering Committee is comprised of long-time Belvedere residents who share a common interest in the intelligent development of Belvedere.

BRIG is a volunteer group of over 600 members and growing. Our grassroots organization seeks to advocate for the overall interests of the Belvedere community, comprised of more than 2,000 homeowners and renters, as well as groups and businesses with objectives consistent with ours (e.g., community groups in other areas, BLPOA, Ark Road and Main Street merchants, and Tiburon Boulevard shops and services).
